Acura TL 2.5 Throttle body Diagnostics Diagram

wiring manuals If you have an Acura TL 2.5 series with a new starter and battery but still won't start, then the diagnostic for this problem maybe to check its fuel or spark. Here is the step by step to do the test for your Acura TL 2.5 Throttle body diagnostics problem :
- Spray some starting fluid in the throttle body and try to start it
- If it starts and runs for a couple of seconds, then there is a fuel delivery problem(weak fuel pump)
- If it does not start, then there is no spark- ignition coil or ignition control module.

An easy way to find it is to trace the air intake tube that connects to the air cleaner box. It will go from the air cleaner box to the throttle body. You just need a screwdriver to loosen clamp and disconnect at the throttle body.
